Henry Heyink Construction Ltd. is an active member in good standing in the following organizations:

Henry Heyink Construction Ltd. is a family and community oriented organization that supports countless local fundraising initiatives and non-profit organizations in the community each year.  Many local organizations are included in the annual budget and are provided financial support to help achieve their missions, goals, and initiatives.

In addition, the company has rallied around other important causes with financial and moral support over the last number of years.  For example, in 2011, the workers rallied after fire destroyed the local Outreach for Hunger by donating over 1,000 pounds of food (delivered via loader bucket – of course – to the new location) accompanied by a significant corporate dollar donation.   In 2010 the company supported the local Safety Village with a significant corporate dollar donation.  The Safety Village was chosen specifically for support because it has a family oriented and safety emphasized mission, which parallels the mindset at Henry Heyink Construction Ltd.   In 2006 through 2008 the company actively participated in the local Relay for Life event of the Canadian Cancer Society.  In 2006, the “Dirt Diggers” relay team received provincial honors and awards for being the top fundraising team in all of Ontario for Relay for Life.  In 2007 and 2008, the “Dirt Diggers” were the top fundraising team for the local Relay for Life event.

In 2006 Henry Heyink Construction Ltd. was honored by the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce by receiving the Business of Excellence Award.  The company is proud of their field supervisors for receiving many awards and acknowledgements for maintaining clean safety records over the years.  The award for business excellence and the clean safety records are extremely meaningful to the company, as these awards provide positive recognition that critical components of the corporate mission are being met.
